Adjusting the game
- Calm mode: Settings → Display → Calm mode keeps a quieter gameplay presentation with fewer celebrations.
- Reduced visual effects: turn this on in Settings to reduce effects. The game also responds to the device’s Reduce Motion preference.
- Appearance: choose Light, Dark or System. Characters and text accompany colour cues.
- Practice: choose a fixed speed from 0.6× to 4.0×, with unlimited lives.
- Timing offset: adjust the relationship between taps and the music if your audio setup introduces delay.
- Sound and touch: adjust music and melody/effects separately, or turn haptic feedback off.
Text and controls
Menus use labelled controls and adapt to larger system text sizes. Important judgements include words as well as colours, and character shapes distinguish the four lanes. A replayable lesson introduces taps, holds and slides without losing lives.
Known gameplay limitations
Tilephony is a visual, real-time touch rhythm game. Some charts require simultaneous touches, sustained holds or tracing slides. Full gameplay access with VoiceOver, Switch Control or alternative input has not been verified. We do not claim that the game is fully playable without vision or precise touch control. Slower Practice and easier bundled difficulties may help, but do not remove every barrier.
This website
The website uses semantic headings and landmarks, a skip link, visible keyboard focus, descriptive image text and responsive layouts. It works without JavaScript, has no automatic audio, and respects reduced motion. You can zoom the page and navigate its links with a keyboard. The website has not undergone a full accessibility audit.
